National Cadet Corps- 1 Coy 30 K Bn, Kozhikode

The NCC Unit of Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College is the largest unit within the 30 K BN NCC, comprising 160 cadets. Dedicated to fostering discipline, leadership, and national pride, the unit provides a platform for the holistic development of its members, nurturing their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through regular drills, adventure activities, and moral guidance, cadets are prepared to become responsible citizens and future leaders. The unit also emphasizes providing cadets with comprehensive information about the defense sector.

In addition to military training, the unit actively engages in social service activities. It has participated in Swachhata Pakhwada at Calicut Railway Station, the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan (beach cleaning program), and several blood donation drives. The unit's dedication has led to participation in several national-level camps, including the Republic Day Camp, Special National Integration Camp, and Advanced Leadership Camp.

The unit is led by Associate NCC Officer Lt. Dr. Sanoj E, under whose leadership the cadets continue to excel in both military and social initiatives.
