The Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College is proud to share the achievement of its former NCC cadet, Vidarsha K. Vinod, of the 2017–2020 batch, who has reportedly won a silver medal in shooting at the 20th Asian Games 2026 in Japan. Vidarsha K. Vinod represented the 1 Coy (30 K) Battalion, NCC, Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode. Her achievement reflects exceptional commitment, discipline, perseverance, and sporting excellence. It is a moment of immense pride for the College, the NCC unit, her teachers, fellow cadets, alumni, and the wider academic community.
The 20th Asian Games are being held in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan, from 19 September to 4 October 2026. Shooting competitions are scheduled from 20 September to 1 October. The College congratulates Vidarsha K. Vinod on this remarkable international accomplishment and wishes her continued success in her future sporting career.
