National Youth Day and National Voters' Day Celebrated at The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College

Kozhikode, January 10, 2025: The District Administration of Calicut, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College, celebrated National Youth Day and National Voters' Day with great enthusiasm and vigor on the college campus today.

The event was inaugurated by the District Collector, who officially flagged off the Mega Rally, titled 'Young Voters March.' The rally aimed to raise awareness among new voters about the significance of exercising their democratic right to vote. Students and faculty participated with enthusiasm, carrying banners and slogans emphasizing the power and responsibility of voting.

As part of the celebrations, a mock election was conducted, involving the active participation of the District Collector, Principal Dr. Rajani B, faculty members, and students. The mock election was a symbolic gesture to emphasize the importance of voting as a cornerstone of democracy.
