Introduction to Career Connect Campus Programme and DWMS Registration
22nd January 2024, Kozhikode: The Centre for Career Guidance, in collaboration with the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM), organized an informative session titled "Introduction to Career Connect Campus Programme and DWMS Registration" on the forenoon of 22nd January 2024. The event was specifically tailored for the final year Undergraduate (UG) students of The Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College. Mr. Vineeth Vijayan, Curator at KKEM, served as the resource person for the session.
The programme aimed to introduce students to the Career Connect Campus initiative and guide them through the registration process for the Digital Workforce Management System (DWMS), a platform designed to connect students with potential employers and career opportunities. Mr. Vijayan provided a comprehensive overview of the Career Connect Campus programme, highlighting its benefits in enhancing employability and facilitating smooth transitions from academic life to professional careers.
During the session, Mr. Vijayan demonstrated the DWMS registration process, explaining how the platform enables students to create profiles, upload resumes, and access a wide range of job opportunities tailored to their skills and interests. He also emphasized the importance of being proactive in career planning and utilizing available resources to maximize employment prospects.
The students actively participated in the session, engaging in discussions and seeking clarifications on various aspects of the Career Connect Campus programme and DWMS.
