Kozhikode, 12th September 2024 – The Teaching Staff Club of The Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm and traditional flair on September 12, 2024. The celebration brought together faculty members to commemorate Kerala’s most vibrant festival, Onam, symbolizing unity, prosperity, and cultural richness.

The event included various traditional activities, such as creating a beautiful Onam Pookkalam (floral arrangement), Onam games, and the much-anticipated Onasadya, the grand vegetarian feast that is the highlight of the festival. The teaching staff engaged in cultural performances and friendly competitions, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.

The Onam celebrations reflected the essence of the festival, reinforcing bonds of camaraderie among the faculty, while also paying homage to Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The Teaching Staff Club’s initiative in organizing the event added to the festive spirit within the college community.
