On 7th July 2024, the Nature Club of The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College (ZGC), in association with the Bhoomitrasena initiative of the state government, inaugurated the "Nakshatra Vanam" project on the college campus. The event marked the planting of saplings for the Nakshatra Vanam, along with the creation of a butterfly garden on the campus grounds. The initiative received official approval when our esteemed Principal, Dr. Rajani B, was handed the permission letter by Hon. Minister Dr. A. K. Saseendran during the valedictory function of the week-long Van Mahotsav celebrations.
